Best time to visit Nha Trang

The dry season starts from January to August with the average temperature ranging from 28 to 30°C. Outdoor activities are favorable for this time. January and February are the coldest months (21 - 28°C) with the lowest rainfall (16 - 41mm). The gentle sunshine makes it very comfortable for you to explore the city and sightsee the stunning landscape. The hottest months are July and August with temperatures from 24 - 33°C which is perfect for water-based activities such as swimming, snorkeling, surfing, parasailing, etc. June to August is the peak season for domestic travelers, especially families with kids.

The wet season is from September to December. It also may start earlier or later depending on each year. The rainfall increases remarkably from 133 to 295mm per month and the temperature decreases to 21 - 32°C. However, it is not as frigid as the winter in Northern Vietnam and the sporadic rain may not affect activities very much. The wet season is suitable for those who want to look for more privacy, avoid crowds, and unwind on the beach and at beautiful beachside properties.

The dry season is the best time for nice weather and outdoor activities. The ideal months are from March to June when the temperature is warmer than in January and February but the sunshine is not as harsh as in July and August. Also, the wet season is the best time for great travel deals. If you want to save cost and avoid the crowds, it is a nice time to chill with a bunch of fun things to do from September to December such as visiting oceanographic institutes, museums, Po Nagar Cham Towers, relaxing on the beach, learn about daily life of locals, tasting local food, etc.
