Hanoi Arrival
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel by our driver. Free at the rest of the day. Meals are own your own and overnight in Hanoi.
Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Trang An Scenic Landscape – Ninh Binh (B, L)
Today, you will visit Ninh Binh, the former capital during 10th century and an ideal tourist destination with pleasant climate, magnificent limestone caves and natural stone sculptures. Stop to visit Dinh and Le temples before lunch at a local restaurant. Continue a rowing boat trip to reach Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex where you will visit Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave and Nau Ruou. Check in your hotel in Ninh Binh in the late afternoon. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Ninh Binh.
Ninh Binh - Halong Cruise Trip (B, L, D)
Morning pick-up and transfer to Halong. Arrive the pier at noon, you will then join a cruise trip around the bay. Lunch included on board. In the afternoon, spend around 40mins to visit Amazing Cave – the most beautiful bay in Halong. Return to the boat and relax. Dinner and overnight onboard.
Halong – Hanoi – Night Train to Lao Cai (B, L)
Try to get up early and enjoy sounds of waves and birds in the morning on the bay. After breakfast, you will visit a beautiful grotto. Back to the boat and enjoy Halong Bay sights while the cruise heads to the dock. Return to Hanoi, dinner is on your own and stay overnight on train to Lao Cai.
Lao Cai – Sapa – Trekking to The Village – Sapa (B, L)
Arrive in Lao Cai in the early morning, our driver will then transfer you to Sapa town, a famous summer resort since French colonial time. It’s home to many ethnic groups namely H’mong, Dzao, Tay or Giay. After breakfast, take a day trip trekking to the villages. Follow small tracks, crossing Muong Hoa River and rice terraces to reach your first destination which is Lao Chai village, home to Black H’mong people. Continue to trek to visit Ta Van Giay village. Trek along the Muong Hoa River, you will cross a small suspension bridge, roughly 2km from the settlement. The place offers you a fascinating collection of rock carvings. After lunch, passing a bamboo forest to the village of Red Dao people, called Giang Ta Chai. Take a rest at a waterfall nearby then climb uphill to the pick-up point and back to Sapa. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Sapa.
Sapa – Return to Hanoi (B)
In the morning, you will depart to Cat Cat village. Upon reaching a waterfall and a hydroelectric station, we will take a short rest before continuing our trek on a dirty trail through rice terraced fields. Visit Y Linh Ho village where many Black H’mong inhabit before climbing back to the main road to the pick-up point. Back to Sapa and wait until our luxury express bus takes you back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi in late afternoon. Meals are on your own and overnight in Hanoi.
Hanoi Out (B)
Free until time for your transfer to the airport for your flight back home by our driver. Trip ends.
