  In the morning, pick up and transfer to some Hanoi’s highlights including Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam. After lunch, continue to visit the Opera House, Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarters with Dong Xuan Market and enjoy Water Puppet Show. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Hanoi.

• Day 2

  Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat Village - Sapa (L)

  In the early morning, transfer from Hanoi to Sapa where many ethnic groups such as H’mong, Dzao and Tay inhabit. Arrive at noon, enjoy lunch and check in your hotel. The excursion starts in the afternoon with short trip to Cat Cat village. It’s a chance to see daily life of Black H’mong people and trek down the Hydraulic Power Station within 2 hours (2.5km). Back to your hotel. Dinner on your own and overnight in Sapa.

• Day 3

  Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Sapa (B, L)

  Today, you will explore Sapa’s cultural diversity and natural beauty starting with trip to Y Linh Ho, then you will trek through rice terraces and follow Muong Hoa Stream to reach Lao Chai village where many Black H’mong people live. Continue to trek about 9km in 4 hours to see Ta Van village, home to Dzay ethnic group. You will then be picked up to the town for lunch. Free at the rest of the day. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Sapa.

• Day 4

  Sapa – Local Market (Depending On The Day Of The Week) – Lao Cai - Hanoi (B, L)

  It’s a good chance to enjoy vibrant atmosphere of the local market happening weekly where many hand-crafted products are displayed and sold by ethnic people. Lunch will be served before you return to Hanoi. Dinner on your own and overnight in Hanoi.

• Day 5

  Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi (L)

  Morning pick up and transfer to Halong Bay with a short visit to crafts workshops on the way. Arrive at the pier at noon and then get on the boat. Lunch included. You will then visit various beautiful sites there including Cho Da (Stone Dog), Lu Huong (Incense Burner), Ba Hang Fishing Village and Ngon Tay (Fingers) Islets. Continue to visit ‘Ga Choi’ (Fighting Cock) Island – the symbol of Halong and Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Grotto) which houses many stalactites and stalagmites of all kinds. Back to Halong pier for transfer to Hanoi. Trip ends.
