After lunch, you will continue to visit the Opera House, Hoan Kiem Lake and charming Old Quarter with the highlight of Dong Xuan Market. Finally, enjoy a joyful Water Puppet Show. • Day 2

  Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi (L)

  This morning, you will leave Hanoi to Halong Bay and stop by crafts workshops to take great photos of marble stone sculptures on the way. Upon arrival, get on and enjoy a delicious lunch on board. The rest of the day is to visit Cho Da (Stone Dog), Lu Huong (Incense Burner), Ba Hang Fishing Village and Ngon Tay (Fingers) Islets. Next, continue to visit visit ‘Ga Choi’ or Fighting Cock Island – the symbol of Halong and the beautiful Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Grotto) with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. Back to the pier and Hanoi. Dinner on your own and overnight in Hanoi.

  Hanoi – Mai Chau Sightseeing – Mai Chau (L, D)

  This morning, you will be picked up and transfer to Mai Chau in Hoa Binh Province, which is 135km away from Hanoi. The region features main residential area of White Thai group and stunning natural landscapes. After travelling along Cun Slope, 12 km from Cao Phong district, we will reach Mai Chau Valley which offers great views of green valley and stilt houses. A traditional lunch with rice wine awaits you in a local family. After that, join a biking tour around the village. Dinner and overnight in Mai Chau (in a homestay).

  Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa (B, L)

  Today you will visit Y Linh Ho and then trek through rice terraces and follow Muong Hoa Stream to reach Lao Chai village. This is the main place where Black H’mong people live with spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. Continue to trek about 9km in 4 hours to Ta Van village, home to Dzay ethnic group. Back to the town for lunch and freely enjoy the region on your own. Dinner on your own and overnight in Sapa.
