• Day 2

  Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat Village – Sapa (L)

  Today, take an early and long drive to Sapa in Lao Cai province which is home to many minority ethnic groups such as H’mong, Dzao and Tay. Enjoy lunch with local dishes before checking in your hotel. Start to wonderful trip to Cat Cat village in the afternoon where many Black H’mong people inhabit. This is a good chance to see local’s daily life activities and trek down the Hydraulic Power Station built by the French. It takes about 2.5 hours along 2.5km. Return to Sapa. Dinner on your own, overnight in Sapa

• Day 3

  Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa (B, L)

  In the morning, after breakfast, start to visit Y Linh Ho where you will trek through rice terraces and follow Muong Hoa Stream to reach Lao Chai village, the main residential area of Black H’mong village. Continue to trek 9km within 4 hours to visit Ta Van village, home to Dzay ethnic group. Back to Sapa. Lunch included. Free at the rest of the day. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Sapa.
